Treatment can work around busy lifestyles
There’s a dilemma that presents in cosmetic dentistry all of the time, especially now as a nation we have become more aware of the way we look. Straighter teeth are among the most popular items on patients’ wish list, but the thought of wearing noticeable metal braces is off-putting and incompatible with busy social and professional lives.
Orthodontics, the correcting of bites and the straightening of crooked teeth, is now becoming more fashionable with younger adults. It was once the domain of children’s dentistry, and a good deal of work is still with youngsters.
But the ever-increasing awareness that smiles can be enhanced by this ‘entry-level’ into the bigger and more invasive surgical enhancement marketplace sees more orthodontic procedures booked in at North Street Dental, situated in Dudley, West Midlands.
Thankfully, there is no longer the need for unsightly wire braces for most people who want to improve the aesthetic appearance of their smile by straightening their teeth. Our Invisalign braces may be the solution you are searching for.
The secret of invisible tooth straightening
A smile can change everything
Let’s face it; a smile can change everything. Your confidence. Your outlook. Your life. And with Invisalign, achieving the smile you always dreamed of doesn’t have to be a big deal. It barely has to impact your day-to-day life at all.
Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
Comfortable, clear and removable – Invisalign transforms your smile without disrupting your life. It’s something that over 3 million people worldwide have already discovered.
Are you ready for your new smile?
Let’s take a quick look at the treatment process.
Before a treatment plan can be created, we will take an impression of your teeth to check whether they can be straightened using the Invisalign System. Once confirmed, a detailed treatment plan will then be developed using ClinCheck®, our virtual 3D treatment plan.
ClinCheck shows the series of movements your teeth are projected to go through throughout the treatment – so you can see how your teeth are expected to look at the end of your Invisalign treatment before it even begins.

Smiling every step of the way
When you begin your Invisalign treatment, you will wear each set of custom-made aligners in two-week increments. As you progress through the series of aligners, your teeth will start moving, little by little, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
During this time you will have occasional check-ups with us to monitor your progress and ensure you are comfortable with the treatment.
Designed to fit your lifestyle
The time it takes to complete the treatment varies from person to person, depending on the complexity of each straightening issue.
Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible. No one may even notice that you’re wearing these virtually invisible aligners, making Invisalign a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others.
Invisalign aligners are removable giving you the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment by simply removing the aligners. And you can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for fresh breath and to maintain good oral hygiene.
Unlike traditional fixed braces, there are no metal brackets or wires.
And finally, Invisalign allows you to view your virtual results and treatment plan before you even begin treatment so you can see how your teeth are expected to look when your treatment is complete.
