At North Street Dental in Dudley, we are now able to offer same-day appointments with our popular dental hygienist and therapist, Sophie Mae.

You don’t have to see our dentist

New legislation from the General Dental Council means you can go straight to a dental hygienist for a professional teeth cleaning and advice on your dental health. That means we can welcome people who only want to see our dental hygienist/therapist without them having to register with the dentist.

Previously, all work carried out by hygienists had to be referred by a dentist.

Same day appointments for a scale and polish

Don’t want to see a dentist, but want your teeth to sparkle? Sophie Mae BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy (B’ham) GDC 264333 can typically see you the same day. No waiting for a dental appointment with our dentist, no frustrating delays.

No dental examination to get an appointment

You will not need a dental examination to see Sophie. Just call us, and we’ll book you in. It’s as simple as that. Our dental clinic is on North Street, Dudley, West Midlands – map and directions are on our contact page.

Your dental health on screen

As part of the treatment, we use an interoral camera to display images of your mouth onto a screen you can see. It helps us educate patients, and Sophie will be able to show you those teeth that may require special attention and how to clean them thoroughly.
